Order Process

From your first enquiry to site delivery

From design consultation and quoting through approved shop drawings, manufacturing, international freight, customs clearance and final delivery, every stage of your Steelos order is carefully coordinated from beginning to end.

Clear from the beginning.

How the Process Works

Starting a project with Steelos Steel is simple. Enquire through our pre-designed door or window pages, submit our Made-to-Order form, contact us through the website or call us directly.

We’ll discuss your project, prepare a quote and initial drawing, then finalise the details before issuing the 40% deposit invoice. Once payment is received, we begin preparing the final technical shop drawings.

The Order Journey

01 — Enquire and define the project

Start with a pre-designed Steelos layout or submit your own idea. Plans, approximate dimensions, photographs or inspiration images are enough to begin.

We discuss the project location, opening configuration, internal or external use, glass, steel, finish, hardware, delivery and installation requirements.

Detailed shop drawings are issued within five business days once the deposit and final information have been received. These drawings must be carefully reviewed, signed and returned before production begins.

The signed drawings become the manufacturing reference. Your system is then cut, formed, welded, finished, glazed, assembled and tested before it passes final quality control.

Once manufacturing and final checks are complete, the remaining 60% is invoiced. Payment is required before the order can leave the factory.

The completed system is securely packed, shipped to Australia and processed through customs clearance. Once released, we coordinate local site delivery and installation when this has been included in the accepted quote.
